Annals of Clinical Prosthodontics is aimed at encouraging scientific research and its documentation, not only to enhance the general standards of the specialty of Prosthodontics and Dental Health, but also in the health service planning and promotion of general well-being throughout the state as well but the country as a whole. It has been initiated with the purpose of bringing scientific research, Review and case reports, to a wider audience of dental professionals around the state and the country in order to improve the clinical outcome of dental treatment with particular emphasis on the specialty of prosthodontics. The journal will provide a platform to researchers, clinicians and academicians in the field of Prosthodontics to expand their intellectual horizon and professional acumen in order to encourage self-reliance and confidence in the Dental fraternity worldwide. professionals across the nation. It serves as a strong platform for advancing education, clinical
excellence, and scientific innovation in our specialty.
A proud and dynamic state branch of IPS is the Karnataka state branch, established in the year 2003,
Karnataka state branch - IPS was created with the vision of providing a dedicated platform for
prosthodontists across Karnataka to connect, collaborate, and contribute to the advancement of our
specialty. The society promotes excellence in prosthodontic education, research, and clinical practice.
Since its inception, IPS Karnataka state branch has been highly active, organizing a wide range of
academic and professional development programs. These include annual state-level conferences,
scientific sessions, hands-on workshops, and trade fairs that showcase evolving technologies in the
field of dentistry. To encourage academic achievement, IPS Karnataka state branch also facilitates
awards and cash prizes supported by generous donors from within the society and celebrates the
world prosthodontics’ day on Jan 22nd by organizing various academic activities. The IPS Karnataka
state branch has been awarded as the 'best branch' - for 02 times from the Head Office.
In its commitment to public service, IPS Karnataka state branch supports initiatives like the 'Dhantha
Bhagya Yojana', organized by the Government of Karnataka. Through this initiative, various dental
colleges with MoUs provide free complete dentures to eligible patients.
With an ever-growing membership of dedicated clinicians, academicians, and students, the IPS
Karnataka State Branch stands today as a vibrant and respected professional body.In loving memory
of my parents, Shri Gururaj Diwan and Smt Radha Diwan, I wish to sponsor the award of ₹5000 to the
best table clinic presented in IPS Karnataka state branch conference. This is a small gesture to
acknowledge their legacy and the values they instilled in me. I hope this prize will inspire the awarded
